NOTE: The application deadline for the 2012 Festival has passed. Thank you for your interest.

Students are encouraged to apply early, starting Nov 1, as space is limited. Applications will be considered on a first-come first-served basis determined by when they submit the online part of their application. Additional compliant applications will be placed on a waiting list.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Be sure to read and understand the following documents before you begin:

Please have the following information available before starting the online application process:

  • Complete repertoire information with opus number and performance duration
  • Contact information for the participant and his/her teacher: names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses

Your application will not be complete until you:

  1. click the "Submit Application" button after filling out the next page,
  2. see a confirmation page displayed as well as emailed to you within 24 hours, and
  3. post additional material so as to arrive by Dec 22, 2011 at the address indicated on the application confirmation page. This required additional material will include:
    1. parent's and teacher's signature on a printed copy of the confirmation page, and
    2. a check for the application fee payable to "N.W. Chopin Festival".

The final performance schedule (location and playing time) will be posted online by Jan 15, 2012 at http://www.chopinnw.org/2012festival/2012schedule.php. Unlike previous years, this information will not be sent out by postal mail.
